Dean's seventh studio album and one of his finest albums, yet. 13 brand new songs, lyrical soundscapes and storysongs, bursting with life, love and survival in a surreal world. Contains instant classics like, 'I'm a Lucky Guy', 'Under the Weather', 'Essie May', 'You're a Criminal Darling', 'Calamity Waltz' and more. Plus a special rebuttal to Half Man Half Biscuits, bestselling EP track, 'The Bastard Son of Dean Friedman' - 'A Baker's Tale', the unvarnished (and hilarious) truth about Nigel Blackwell's dubious origins. 'Dean Friedman is entirely unique and utterly brilliant!' 5 STARS***** - ThreeWeeks Stunning Musicianship - Hot Press 'Songsmith Extraordinaire! A Great Performer!' - Music Week 'An Amazing Talent' - The Sun 'An American Classic' - Tribune ...are just of few of the superlatives used to describe Friedman's powerfully unique and original talent. This stunning new recording further confirms Friedman's status as one of the finest songwriters of his generation.

'Submarine Races' Download Section: Choose from the following download options: 1. CD-quality .wav (lossless) audio or 2. excellent sounding, compressed .mp3 (192k) audio. [NOTE: wav files are larger, take longer to download and take up more room on your hard-drive, but sound equal to a CD. mp3 files are smaller, download quicker and take up less room on your hard-drive. They're also the standard for iPods and other mp3 players. Also, these files are zipped, so you'll need a program like WinZip to unzip the files, once they're on your harddrive. Any problems just email me at dean@deanfriedman.com]
